Keep HypeSpot useful, competitive, and trustworthy.
HypeSpot is built around competition, discovery, reputation, and attention.
That only works when people play fairly.
By using HypeSpot, you agree not to abuse the platform, manipulate rankings, misrepresent yourself, or interfere with other users.
Be honest
Do not create false claims about your products, services, experience, customers, results, rankings, or reputation.
Do not submit fake evidence.
Do not impersonate another person, company, creator, or brand.
No fake reviews
Do not create fake reviews or testimonials.
Do not pay, pressure, threaten, or manipulate people into leaving misleading reviews.
Do not review your own listing using fake accounts.
No ranking manipulation
Do not attempt to manipulate HypeSpot rankings through bots, automated accounts, payment abuse, fraudulent transactions, or other methods designed to bypass the platform's ranking system.
Do not exploit technical vulnerabilities.
Do not attempt to interfere with another listing's ranking.
No fraudulent payments
Do not use stolen cards, unauthorized payment methods, fraudulent identities, or other payment methods that you are not authorized to use.
Chargeback abuse is prohibited.
Repeated fraudulent chargebacks or payment abuse may result in account restrictions or permanent suspension.
No illegal or harmful content
Do not use HypeSpot to promote illegal goods, illegal services, fraud, scams, malware, stolen information, or other unlawful activity.
HypeSpot may restrict categories or listings that create legal, safety, regulatory, payment-provider, or platform risks.
Respect intellectual property
Do not upload or publish content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
You are responsible for having the rights necessary to submit content to HypeSpot.
Don't abuse the platform
Do not:
- Attack or harass other users
- Spam listings
- Create excessive duplicate accounts
- Attempt to bypass account restrictions
- Scrape or abuse platform infrastructure
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Reverse engineer or attack payment systems
- Upload malicious code
- Interfere with platform availability
Sponsored ranking
Paid ranking is a visibility mechanism.
A sponsored position does not mean HypeSpot guarantees:
Performance can vary.
HypeSpot can moderate
HypeSpot may remove, restrict, demote, suspend, or disable listings/accounts that violate these rules, the Terms, applicable law, or payment-provider requirements.
Where appropriate, HypeSpot may also take action against suspicious activity even when a violation cannot immediately be conclusively established.
